Electriphi joins NACFE and Department of Energy workshop led by NREL and ORNL
Electriphi was invited to participate in the NACFE and Department of Energy (including NREL and ORNL) workshop jointly led by NREL, ORNL and NACFE that focused on research, technical challenges, and future direction related to the electrification of medium and heavy duty vehicles (including vehicle charging).
Topics of discussion included electrified powertrain architectures, energy storage and power electronics challenges, charging equipment and facility / operations challenges of electrified medium and heavy duty trucks for all vocations.
The workshop included:Exchange of information with key laboratories, industry OEMs and operational fleets on the current state of technology for medium and heavy duty on-road vehicles.Helpd identify technical challengesProvided input to help shape the future for medium and heavy duty R&DWorkshop attendees included a wide variety of fleets, suppliers, government experts, and other heavily involved organizations who provided the most robust dialog possible on this industry changing topic.
